As one of the UK's leading online retailers of industrial tapes and adhesives, we’re starting 2021 by investing in our future, despite the impact of Covid-19. Not only have we expanded our team, we’ve also introduced a new machine on to our factory floor which will help us to provide an even faster, more flexible service to customers.
Our new lathe machine allows us full flexibility regarding the widths/lengths of tape and fast turnaround so customers can get a product that is exactly the size they need, in the quantity they want, within a short lead time. Often when ordering a customised product (such as a non-manufactured width and length) there is a large minimum order quantity, but our new piece of kit will allow customers to only order what they need rather than stockpiling tapes they might not use for months.
We’ve also expanded our warehouse and accounts teams to make sure each customer order is fulfilled as quickly and efficiently as possible. Shannon has joined our accounts department and will be assisting our Accounts Manager Rachel with both purchase and sales ledger. We’ve already heard all about Shannon’s Doberman Harley, the biggest dog in the Viking team!
To help get orders out to our customers as quickly as possible, Rob has joined our warehouse team to assist with both dispatch and production and will be one of the first to use our brand new machine. Rob is used to multi-tasking and being one step ahead as a father to twin girls!
Our priority is to continue providing the personal service and quality products our customers are used to, and in the current (and unusual) climate we know how important it is to invest in our future.
