What is the 3M VHB Tape Max series?
The 3M VHB Tape Max series is a high performance double sided acrylic foam tape designed to replace traditional fasteners and offer an alternative to liquid adhesives.
It is the strongest acrylic foam tape in the 3M VHB tape portfolio, offering two times greater tensile and overlap shear strength. The range is fast and easy to use, offers maximum strength, design flexibility, and long-term durability, and when used with the 3M VHB Tape Max Promoter, it delivers enhanced strength for applications previously deemed impossible.
3M VHB Tape Max 110GF
Part of the range 3M VHB Tape Max 110GF is a 1.1 mm thick double-sided acrylic foam tape. This adhesive tape creates a seal against water, moisture and debris, and offers a bond strength up to 470 psi (3.24 MPa) in overlap shear.
110GF offers immediate handling strength due to pressure sensitive adhesion for faster assembly and processing times.
Used with the 3M VHB Tape Max Promoter, this tape will bond to a variety of common high and medium surface energy materials including metals, glass and a range of paints and plastics.
