3M 431 - An aluminium foil with transparent acrylic adhesive designed for permanent sealing, holding, splicing or masking requiring the protection offered by a foil backing.

3M 425 - A dead soft aluminium foil combined with a special transparent synthetic acrylic adhesive makes this the best general purpose foil product available. No's. 425 have U.L. approval Class "L" for low flammability. Can be used indoors or out for long term applications.

Lead Foil Tapes

Electrically conductive - 'thieving' action eliminates metal plating edge build-up

Acid resistant - applicable in many etchings, milling and plating operations

Malleable - high conformability, can be worked easily with burnishing tools

High density - ideal weighting or balancing medium

X-ray opacity - helps protect componants from x-rays. Very effective as a marker or locator in x-ray inspection operations

Electrostatic Powder Coating Tapes

Single coated tapes with a pressure sensitive adhesive. They are chemical resistant and can easily withstand temperatures up to 240C which are typically used for curing epoxy and polyester based powder coatings.

No elaborate surface preparation is necessary before applying the tapes, just a thoroughly clean surface and firm roller pressure. After baking and cooling the tape is easily removed in one piece, leaving a sharp paint edge with no adhesive residue.

Duct Sealing

Long ageing properties of Aluminium Foil Tape with acrylic adhesive and it's resistance to heat make it the ideal choice for sealing air ducts.
