Technical Talk - Hot Melt Adhesives

Which Adhesive?

1. Depends on the substrate to be stuck.

2. Depends on the adhesive open time - how much time have you got before it cools down. Long runs need greater open time.

3. Safety aspect - if you are concerned about burns to operators then choose a low melt; 3M3762LM, 3M3792LM or LTS

4. Depends on the gun to be used - 3M Quadrack will only take 3M Quadrack sticks. TEC 420/430 will only work with the TEC 6300/7300 guns.

Please note: 3M Quadrack Adhesives can only be used with the 3M Qudrack Guns 12mm glue sticks can be used with the HGG02 or GX300 guns. 18mm sticks can be used with the GX600 and the GX600a guns.
