Technical Talk - Hot Melt Adhesives
Which Adhesive? 1. Depends on the substrate to be stuck. 2. Depends on the adhesive open time - how much time have you got before it cools down. Long runs need greater open time. 3. Safety aspect - if you are concerned about burns to operators then choose a low melt; 3M3762LM, 3M3792LM or LTS 4. Depends on the gun to be used - 3M Quadrack will only take 3M Quadrack sticks. TEC 420/430 will only work with the TEC 6300/7300 guns.
We hope this page has been of help, but should you have any further questions with regard to Hot Melt selection then please do not hesitate in calling our technical support team for more advice.
