Plate Mounting Tapes

Flexographic Tape System
An effective tape has to perform at three key stages in the plate mounting process

Positioning
Allows the plate to be precisely set and repositioned if necessary.

Removal
Removal of the plate from the tape without damage, then the tape from the cylinder. This means faster mounting and removal, without the use of solvents, faster running speeds and a closer control of solids, line and dots.

Bonding
Holding the plate precisely in position however long the print run

Splicing Tapes

A complete range of splicing tape is available, both in single, double sided and repulpable forms.

Used in paper and board making and the print industry where splicing failiures can cost thousands in machine breakdown time. When making splices whether permanent or temporary, core starting, or in pre-press processes, the need is always the same - high quality dependable splices every time.



The well proven hydrodispersible adhesives used in repulpable tapes are needed in the Paper Mill, where waste may be returned to the broke without the need to remove splices, and in print use where paper waste recycling is too important for cost conscious newspapers and printers to ignore.
